A little about FrameMint

One useful task, made a little easier.

FrameMint is an independent Draconova tool for turning existing sprite sheets and PNG frame sequences into usable animation assets. It processes your files locally with browser canvas, a GIF encoder and ZIP packaging. It works with artwork from image generators or your own drawing workflow. FrameMint is not affiliated with OpenAI or any model provider.

What this version does

Turn an AI-generated sprite sheet into an animated GIF, PNG sequence or atlas. Slice frames, adjust timing and positions, and export locally in your browser.

What to keep in mind

FrameMint arranges existing frames; it does not generate missing motion or redraw inconsistent characters. Up to 64 frames and 20 MB of input files, with 16 megapixels of decoded input in total. GIF uses a limited palette and on/off transparency. Export limits are checked before processing. Your artwork keeps its original rights.

Built as a small public experiment

We are testing whether a focused tool can solve a recurring task well. This first release has no advertising, paid plan or account requirement. Feature availability may change as the tool is improved. You keep the original rights and restrictions of imported artwork. The included Mintbot sample is provided to try the tool.

Help us improve it
